My first task when I begin a new lesson is to read the lesson objectives and understand what I am expected to learn. Then, I review any prerequisites or background knowledge that is necessary for the lesson. I also gather any necessary materials or resources, such as textbooks, notebooks, or online resources. Finally, I prepare myself mentally and create a conducive learning environment, free from distractions, so that I can fully focus on the lesson.
