Interrogative mood

The interrogative mood is a grammatical mood used to ask questions. It is also known as the questioning mood. Sentences in the interrogative mood typically begin with an auxiliary verb or a question word, and the subject and verb order may be reversed. Examples of sentences in the interrogative mood include:

- Are you feeling okay?
- Did you go to the store?
- Why are you sad?
- Where is the library?
- Have you finished your homework?

The interrogative mood is used to seek information, obtain confirmation or denial, or request an action. It is one of the four main grammatical moods, along with the indicative mood, imperative mood, and subjunctive mood.
