Suppose that a cart is moving along a road at a constant velocity. Give two examples of ways to cause the cart to decelerate, explaining how the net force is affected.(2 points)

And write like a fifth grader

If you want to make the cart slow down, there are two ways to do it! One way is to push the cart in the opposite direction it is already moving. This will make the cart gradually slow down. The other way is to place something heavy on the cart. The weight of the heavy object will make the cart slow down too. When we push the cart or place something heavy on it, the net force changes. Net force is what makes objects move, and when we push in the opposite direction or add weight, the net force gets smaller. This causes the cart to decelerate and gradually stop moving.
