1. Select the text box by clicking on it.

2. In the top menu, click on the "Format" tab.
3. In the "Size" section, enter 2.5" in the "Height" box and 5.5" in the "Width" box.
4. In the "Alignment" section, click on the "Center" button to center the text in the textbox.
5. In the "Shape Styles" section, click on the "Shape Fill" drop-down menu and select "White, Background 1" from the Theme Colors palette.
6. Click on the "Shape Outline" drop-down menu and select "Black, Text 1" from the Theme Colors palette.
7. In the "Arrange" section, click on the "Align" drop-down menu and select "Center" from the options.
8. Click on the "Align" drop-down menu again and select "Middle" from the options.
9. In the "Shape Styles" section, click on the "Shadow" gallery and select the "Offset: Center" shadow effect from the "Outer" section.
10. Your text box is now resized, centered, filled and outlined correctly, and aligned in the middle and center of the slide.
