A critical reader does all of the above. Critical reading involves actively engaging with a text and questioning its content, author's intentions, and underlying assumptions. A critical reader forms opinions based on their analysis of the text and the evidence provided. They make arguments by presenting their viewpoints and supporting them with logical reasoning and evidence from the text or external sources. Critical readers also make claims by asserting their position on a particular issue or topic and providing reasons to support it.
