Where did it take place?
List individuals involved (for example officers, soldiers, citizens, and political figures)
What happened during the event (who won, how many casualties, how long did it last, etc.)

4. How did this impact the course of the Revolutionary War

What happened immediately following the topic you described

Cite your sources, you must use a minimum of two sources and put them in MLA format.

Events leading up to the Proclamation of 1763:
- After the French and Indian War, Great Britain gained control of much of North America, including the Ohio River Valley.
- To avoid conflict with Native American tribes, King George III issued the Proclamation of 1763, which prohibited colonists from settling west of the Appalachian Mountains.

Controversy surrounding the Proclamation of 1763:
- Many colonists were angered by the proclamation as they saw it as a violation of their rights.
- Some believed that the proclamation favored Native American tribes and limited the growth of the colonies.
