White army
The White Army refers to the anti-Bolshevik forces that opposed the Bolshevik government during the Russian Civil War (1918-1922). It was composed of a diverse range of groups, including former members of the Russian Imperial Army, liberal politicians, monarchists, nationalists, and other anti-communist factions. The White Army aimed to overthrow the Soviet government and restore the Russian Provisional Government or establish a new democratic regime. However, despite receiving support from various foreign powers, the White Army ultimately lost the civil war to the Red Army under the leadership of the Bolsheviks.
