Collect all materials for boat and spread out on workbench

Grab plastic container and trace shape onto Styrofoam
Cut out shape of Styrofoam and hot glue it to the base of the plastic container
Trace the container again and cut it out
Hot glue it onto the inside of the container
Using the scissors, cut a small hole in the back of the boat, enough to fit a straw in
Get a bottle cap and cut a hole the same size as the one in the container
Line up both holes from the container and the bottle cap and hot glue the bottle cap over the container hole
Stick a straw through both holes. This represents the motor
Using the ruler, measure the height of the plastic container
Using this measurement, find Styrofoam that matches that thickness.
Draw a shape of a nose on the Styrofoam and cut it out
Hot glue it to the front of the boat
Get a rubber band and go back to the straw
Get the balloon and tie the balloon with the rubber band to the end of the straw
In our boat we added some extra detail such as a seat and a steering wheel. To make these we did the following steps:

Cut out 2 bits of Styrofoam, one slightly bigger than the other.
Place the bigger one flat and stand the smaller one up at the back of the flat one. Hot glue them together
Get a bottle cap and hot glue it just in front of where you glued the seat.

Please rewrite it

1. Gather all the necessary boat materials and arrange them on a workbench.

2. Take a plastic container and trace its shape onto a piece of Styrofoam.
3. Cut out the traced shape of Styrofoam and use hot glue to attach it to the base of the plastic container.
4. Trace the shape of the container once again and cut it out.
5. Apply hot glue to the inside of the container and carefully affix the cut-out shape to it.
6. Using scissors, create a small hole in the back of the boat, big enough to accommodate a straw.
7. Obtain a bottle cap and cut a hole of the same size as the one on the container.
8. Align the holes from the container and the bottle cap, and use hot glue to secure the bottle cap over the container hole.
9. Insert a straw through both holes, serving as the motor for the boat.
10. Use a ruler to measure the height of the plastic container.
11. Locate a piece of Styrofoam that matches that thickness and cut out a shape resembling a nose.
12. Apply hot glue to the front of the boat and attach the Styrofoam nose to it.
13. Grab a rubber band and return to the straw.
14. Tie the balloon to the end of the straw using the rubber band, simulating the engine of the boat.
15. For additional details, such as a seat and a steering wheel, follow these steps:
a. Cut out two pieces of Styrofoam, where one is slightly larger than the other.
b. Place the larger piece flat and stand the smaller piece up at the back of the flat one, using hot glue to hold them together.
c. Attach a bottle cap in front of the seat using hot glue.

To make our modified boat, we used the same boat for our original testing. This is the method for the original boat. To make our modified boat we added the following steps to our method:

Attach a piece of Styrofoam the size of the bottom of the container to the bottom of the container using hot glue
Use a pair of scissors and shape the boat hull by scraping away Styrofoam on the sides
Get another piece of Styrofoam the size if the nose of the boat and hot glue it to underneath the nose to make it thicker

Now this please

First, gather all the necessary materials for the boat modification and spread them out on a workbench.

Next, take the plastic container and attach a piece of Styrofoam, cut to the size of the bottom of the container, to the bottom using hot glue.

Using a pair of scissors, shape the boat hull by scraping away some Styrofoam on the sides, giving it a more streamlined appearance.

Then, find another piece of Styrofoam that matches the size of the boat's nose and hot glue it underneath the nose to make it thicker and more stable.

Continue following the rest of the steps from the original boat-making method to complete the modified boat.

Here are the step-by-step instructions for building a boat:

1. Collect all the materials for the boat and spread them out on a workbench.
2. Grab a plastic container and trace its shape onto a piece of Styrofoam.
3. Cut out the shape of the Styrofoam and use hot glue to attach it to the base of the plastic container.
4. Trace the shape of the container again on another piece of Styrofoam and cut it out.
5. Use hot glue to attach the second piece of Styrofoam onto the inside of the container.
6. Using scissors, cut a small hole in the back of the boat, just big enough to fit a straw into.
7. Take a bottle cap and cut a hole in it that matches the size of the hole in the container.
8. Line up the holes from the container and the bottle cap, and use hot glue to attach the bottle cap over the container hole.
9. Insert a straw through both holes to represent the boat's motor.
10. Use a ruler to measure the height of the plastic container.
11. Find a piece of Styrofoam that matches that thickness and cut out a shape for the boat's nose.
12. Use hot glue to attach the Styrofoam nose to the front of the boat.
13. Take a rubber band and loop it around the end of the straw where the motor is located.
14. Tie a balloon to the end of the rubber band to act as the boat's propulsion system.
15. Optionally, you can add extra details to the boat, such as a seat and a steering wheel:

- Cut out two pieces of Styrofoam, one slightly larger than the other.
- Place the larger piece flat and stand the smaller one upright at the back of the flat piece.
- Use hot glue to attach the two pieces together.
- Take a bottle cap and hot glue it just in front of where you attached the seat.

These are the steps to build a boat with added details like a seat and a steering wheel.
