I felt connected to Clay's character because he seemed really determined to navigate across the mountain even though it was really difficult. He tried several different ways to climb across the snowy rocks and slope but kept failing. I can relate to this experience because I've tried to do thing and failed repeatedly. However, Clay is also determined to find a solution and ultimately he succeeds. This made me feel hopeful that even when I try things and fail at first, I can still keep trying different ways to succeed.
