Deserts are located in latitudes zones, which are classified as

arid or semi-arid regions. These zones are typically found at latitudes between 20 and 30 degrees north and south of the equator, where the air is dry and there is little precipitation. However, there are also some deserts that are located in higher latitudes, such as the Gobi Desert in China and Mongolia, which is located at around 40 degrees north.
