What is the difference between renewable and nonrenewable resources

Renewable resources are those that can be replenished or regenerated over a relatively short time period through natural processes or human intervention. Examples include solar energy, wind energy, hydroelectric power, and biomass. Nonrenewable resources, on the other hand, are finite and cannot be replenished or regenerated within a reasonable timeframe once they are depleted. Examples include fossil fuels such as coal, oil, and natural gas, as well as minerals such as gold, silver, and copper.
