Bot DNA (deoxyribonucleic acid) is a double-stranded helix that carries genetic information in all living organisms. RNA (ribonucleic acid) is a single-stranded molecule involved in protein synthesis.
Two differences between DNA and RNA:
1. DNA contains the nitrogenous base thymine, while RNA contains uracil in its place.
2. DNA is relatively stable and remains in the nucleus, whereas RNA is more prone to degradation and can be found in both the nucleus and cytoplasm.
