In two pages write a continuation of chapter 20 of Out of my Mind by Sharon Draper.

Melody had just won the Whiz Kids Quiz Bowl, sending her and her team to the state championships. She was ecstatic, but her excitement was cut short when her nemesis Penny accused her of cheating. Melody was hurt and furious, and wanted to retaliate, but she knew she had to keep her cool.

As Melody made her way home, she couldn't stop thinking about Penny's accusation. She couldn't believe that someone who had never given her the time of day could be so vindictive. "Why does Penny hate me so much?" she thought to herself. Melody was always kind to Penny, but she couldn't figure out why she was so mean to her.

When Melody got home, she went straight to her room, feeling exhausted from the day's events. Suddenly, her phone rang, interrupting her thoughts. It was Rose, her best friend, calling to congratulate her on the win. Melody was grateful for the call and for having such an amazing friend.

Rose listened attentively as Melody shared what had happened with Penny. "That's really terrible, Melody," Rose said sympathetically. "But don't let it get to you. You know you didn't cheat and you know your team worked hard for that win. Don't let Penny's hate bring you down."

Melody knew that Rose was right. She had to focus on the positive things in her life and not let Penny's negativity overshadow her accomplishments. She decided to take a break and do something that always made her feel better - play her keyboard.

As she started to play a song from memory, Melody felt her spirits lift. Music was her escape, and she couldn't imagine her life without it. As she played, she thought about the upcoming quiz bowl championships and how she and her team would have to work even harder to win.

Suddenly, Melody had an idea. What if she wrote a song about cheating, and how it affected people? She could use her experience with Penny as inspiration and turn it into something creative. Melody got to work immediately, jotting down notes and humming a tune.

As she worked on the song, Melody felt a sense of purpose. Writing had always been one of her passions, and now she could use it to express herself and make a difference. She knew that her song might not change things with Penny, but it would speak to other people who might have faced similar situations.

As the night wore on, Melody finished the song and listened to it with satisfaction. She called Rose again to share her accomplishment, and Rose listened with amazement. "You never cease to amaze me, Melody," Rose said. "I can't wait to hear you sing it."

Melody knew that Penny's hate wouldn't go away overnight, but writing the song had given her a new sense of purpose. She was determined to keep pushing forward and to keep making a difference, no matter what obstacles came her way.
