The Anglo-Russian Entente was a diplomatic agreement between the United Kingdom and the Russian Empire in 1907. It settled many of their disputes, including over territories in Central Asia, Tibet, and Persia. The agreement also strengthened diplomatic ties between the two countries and allowed them to work together on international issues, such as the situation in the Balkans.
