What causes grass to decline with animals

As animals graze on grass, they remove the plant's leaves, which are critical for photosynthesis and growth. This can weaken the plant and reduce its ability to recover from grazing. Additionally, the trampling and hoof action of animals can further damage the grass and its root system. Overgrazing can deplete the nutrients in the soil, making it more difficult for the grass to grow back. Factors such as weather, soil quality, and the type and number of animals grazing can also contribute to the decline of grass.
