Mrs. V is a special education teacher at Spaulding Street Elementary School in Out of My Mind book by Sharon Draper. She is one of the few teachers who invests her time and effort in understanding and teaching Melody, a young girl with cerebral palsy. Her unyielding belief in Melody's intelligence and her encouraging approach motivates Melody to participate in classroom activities and develop a passion for learning.
