A population refers to a group of individuals of the same species living in a particular area and interacting with each other. On the other hand, a community refers to all the populations of different species living in a particular area and interacting with each other. In other words, a population is a group of organisms of the same species, while a community is a group of populations of different species living together in a particular area.
