what happen in the Georgians in World War I

The Georgian people were divided in their support of World War I. The majority of the population supported the Central Powers, while a minority supported the Entente Powers. The Georgian government declared its neutrality in the war, but the country was eventually occupied by the German Empire in 1918. The German occupation was short-lived, however, as the country was liberated by the British and their allies in late 1918. After the war, Georgia became part of the newly formed Democratic Republic of Georgia.
