The Canterbury Television (CTV) building, the Pyne Gould Corporation (PGC) building, the PGC carpark building, the Hotel Grand Chancellor, the Forsyth Barr building, the Christchurch Cathedral, and the Christchurch Art Gallery all collapsed in the 2011 Christchurch earthquake.
