How do you culture a Stentor?

Stentors are single-celled organisms that are typically found in freshwater environments. To culture a Stentor, you will need a container, such as a petri dish, filled with a nutrient-rich medium, such as a mixture of agar and yeast extract. You will also need a microscope to observe the Stentor. To begin the culturing process, add a few drops of water containing Stentor cells to the nutrient-rich medium. Place the container in a warm, dark place and allow the Stentor to grow and multiply. After a few days, you should be able to observe the Stentor under the microscope.
