Write the quadratic function (or one possible quadratic function) in vertex or standard form, from the following information

zeros at (-2,0) and (3,0), AND OPENING UPWARD

Find the vertex

thank you very much

the zeroes tell you that

y = a(x+2)(x-3)
the simplest one would be
y = (x+2)(x-3) = x^2 - x - 6
for vertex form, complete the square
x^2 - x + 1/4 - 6 - 1/4 = (x - 1/2)^2 - 25/4
or, since the vertex is midway between the roots, find y(1/2)
