F(x)=(x-1)/(x+1) lies in which quadrant???

Very urgent

clearly, x can be anything except -1, so F(x) lies on both sides of the y-axis.

So now just decide where y is negative or positive.
Since F(1) = 0, the graph crosses the x-axis there, so the graph lies in QI and QIV near x=1.
A little analysis will soon show that the graph lies in all four quadrants.
