May someone help me differentiate the following

d/dx (2 x 3^k e^3x).

use the product rule. Since 3^k is just a constant,

d/dx (3^k * 2x e^(3x))
= 2*3^k d/dx (xe^(3x))
= 2*3^k (e^(3x) + x * 3e^(3x))
= 2*3^k e^(3x) (1+3x)
