determine the equation of the function
quadratic function with a zero at -1 (of order 2) and the graph has a y-intercept of 6
started this unit today I am not really sure how to do this. I know that since its quadratic, it can't be cubic or quartic so it has to have (x+1)^2 with no other x's
could someone please explain in steps? thank you in advance
y = a(x+1)^2
a*(0+1)^2 = 6
y = 6(x+1)^2
