B. 5.1

C. 12.5

D. 18.9**

2) What is the length of the unknown side?
(triangle, sides: 16 on the top, 12 on the right, x on the left. Right triangle square on the right side of the 16 and on top of the 12)

A. 14 units

B. 20 units

C. 28 units**

D. 200 units

I need help, pls!

this does not help!!!!!!!!!!!!

I don't think it'd be 18.9? Since the hypotenuse is across from that square, correct? And the number across from the square is 16. c^2 is what we'd call the hypotenuse. And since we have the hypotenuse, we just need the unknown length. So I think we'd do:

16^2-10^2 and put that into a desmos calculator. Then find the square root of your answer.

oh nvm
