The angles opposite the congruent sides of an isosceles triangle are congruent. Find the value of x in the triangle. Show all your work.

You need to find the number of the one angle that you find. If the number is only in one of either of the bottom corners, the measurement will be the same on both sides. So, add that number to itself (or multiply by two) then do 180 degrees minus (whatever the number is you came up with) and you will get the right answer. Remember-- All triangles and angles will always equal 180 degrees, no matter if they are isoceles, equilateral, scalene, right, obtuse, or acute.

thanks you helped a lot

no

Without 1 angle number there is a RANGE of answers that your angles in the triangle could be. Were you given a diagram?

WHAT IS THE RIGHT ANSWER?

yes he is right

x = 42
