Around here it is important to leave the natural vegetation along the river sides and marshes and earthen oceanfront (not so much granite like in front of my house) or the water will scour the soil away particularly where there are waves and currents. Then the roads and houses get washed away.

Why do people who live in big cities like to get out in the woods?

Mrs sue...

just stop trying to help ur just not. 😐

Sure! The clearing of land for farming and logging has indeed contributed to two specific challenges:

1. Deforestation (*B*) - Clearing land for farming and logging involves the removal of trees and vegetation, resulting in deforestation. This process can have detrimental effects on biodiversity, disrupt ecosystems, and contribute to habitat loss for various species.

2. Loss of biodiversity (not listed as an option) - Clearing land for farming and logging can lead to a significant loss of biodiversity. When natural habitats are destroyed, many species of plants and animals may lose their homes and become endangered or extinct.

So, the correct answers would be *B. deforestation* and 2. loss of biodiversity.
