A sale man recieve a basic salary of $750000 a year together with a comission of 690 the value of goods sold, and area allowance of $45 per km

Find the total amount he receive in year in which he sell goods worth $9376000 and travel 10,000km?(psydag thanks i already understand these part)

the next year he travels 12000km and receives a total of $201000,calculate the percentage increase in the values of goods sold

Huh? He gets a base salary of $750k and only made $201k this year? No way.

First off, there is no way he gets paid $45/km. Maybe $0.45/km. and a commission of 690? I'll go with 6.9% again. Why are you making the same mistakes again? Assuming that, let's go through the math again. You know that for $s in sales and driving k km, his pay is
750000 + 0.069s + 0.45k
So, from the previous post, we find that he made
750000 + 0.069*9376000 + 0.45*10000 = 754,500
Judging from that, it is clear that if he made only 201,000 this year, either the base salary, the 6.9% or the $0.45/km is wrong

So, why don't you fix the dang numbers this time, and then do the math, solving for s. I think you just don't like decimal points. Don't come back till you get it right.
