For what values of n will the sum n+3 be less than 50
n+3 < 50
n < 47
This is very helpful. Thank you to everyone that answered even though i'm really behind. I just started 6th grade and I needed some help. c:
47
Thank you to everyone who typed a responce for this quetion. Though im a 6th grader, i still found this very helpful. I am in Math honors and im not really fitting in with the program as i am not as smart as the other kids. I got this quetion on homework and it was supposed to be due in a week because i have to do more than just one quetion. and i was really struggleing. Thanks again :)
To determine the values of n for which the sum n + 3 is less than 50, we can set up an inequality.
n + 3 < 50
To solve this inequality, we need to isolate the variable n.
Subtracting 3 from both sides of the inequality gives us:
n < 47
Therefore, any value of n that is less than 47 will make the sum n + 3 less than 50.
So, the values of n for which the sum n + 3 is less than 50 are all the integers less than 47.
