It because moss sporophyte have specialized pores called stomata which support photosynthesis by allowing carbndioxide and oxygen between outside air and sporophyte interior
sporophyte IS a semi parasite due to its sub-qualities, dependent on the plant: based on which type is dominate, Sporophyte or gametophyte: Sporophyte is dominate, then yes, its a parasite: feeds off of gametophyte, like a host for nutrients. if gametophyte is dominate, than its a no-go for parasitic properties.
in the moss why the sporophyte is sometimes referred to as a semi parasite.
Dylan basically has the answer, but in mosses the Gametophyte is the dominant generation. The sporophyte (which is the spore capsule and seta/stalk) is dependant on the gametophyte (bottom half of the plant including the Rhizoid) for its nutrition. Parasites feed of other's for nutrients and so on, and hence the sporophyte is said to be semi parasitic as it feeds of the gametophyte.
By khotlele itumeleng skhothane: virus refer as non living becausr they do not have nucleaus, ribosomes and mitochondria
It is because it is the plant that develop on other plant for living while giving its rise to other plant for surviving or growing
Is because virus have properties of both non-living particles as well as living organisms
because they don't have living cells
Virus are not placed in any of the kingdoms because they share both charectaristics of living and non living particles
