@LMP_Connexus then why are you here? If asking for help on here is so horrible, then why are you? Learning doesn't just have to come from textbooks and LiveLessons. Plus, you don't know people's situations. I'm currently going through some pretty hard stuff and literally don't have TIME to study. I'm working hard on my math, but science isn't a crucial subject so really, who cares? Sure, there are people just trying to cheat, but for god's sake, it's SCIENCE. First, Science isn't something you're going to be using in everyday life unless you plan on getting a job in the field, and even then you would be INTERESTED in learning and not need to look for answers online. Second, why are you praising Josh? For all you know he's a lazy slacker who thought it would be funny to watch people fail. You don't know if he has quote "good work ethic". He never asked to have his work checked, Mrs. Sue said that she would check it. Lastly, I don't think you understand the meaning of "Get a life". A life refers to social interaction, not school. From how you make it seem like you're studying 24/7, I'd say you're the one who needs a life.

I agree with Jaxx! LMP_Connexus, how do you suppose josh is helping when he gave incorrect answers? We wouldn't be rude and mad at him if he didn't give wrong answers. Students nowadays post wrong answers on purpose because 1. they probably got a bad score and didn't receive any help 2. they want them to fail? 3. idk but its pretty bad. I mean some students don't have parents to teach them and help them. So I could see why some connexus students come here to get answers. I come here for tutor advise, because the tutors do not list answers. Asking for answers is wrong, I have always believed that, and always will. I am here to read helpful responses from tutors who know more than "the answer is 1.) A 2.) D..., I know because I failed my own test and got the answers." You're right. Learning doesn't come from just textbooks (BTW, its actually e-textbooks) and LL's, but getting answers is NOT a form of learning. It's a form of, well, getting answers. And even though I don't care for Science, it's NOT up to the student to decide whats "crucial". That's up to curriculum providers and schools that use certain material. Also, what you said about josh, that's where you might be right. He might just want to see people fail, but if they're here to cheat and get answers, I can't really really blame him. I'm sorry you are facing hard times, but as a...well...human, who also has and does face hard times, we as people are cantabile to achieve many things, and if you are really going through something that hard, that's what teachers are for, to help us, not just learn content, but help us in our lives that affect our learning. That's why almost every good teacher has said to almost every student or to the class "I'm here for you". And with online school, you have options to run the scheduler or even just try and make up the year during summer brake and stop working for a while. You have options, but as someone who has faced MANY, MANY, MANY hard times, you have options, and even if you don't maintain "perfect" grades (because no one does, no, not even me) you can still do quite well if you just put your effort into your learning. After all, your education, your future. So invest in yourself now, (even though it's not always fun) and reap the rewards for the rest of your life.

I noticed a lot of undo hate towards josh, and I want to say that you should all be ashamed of your greedy, rude, and classless selves. The purpose of this site is to help kids with work ethic, not give answers to lazy, spoiled, rude, disrespectful, and unbearable children like those who were so rude towards a kid with work ethic, trying to get help with answers. If you used the answers he gave and failed, you deserve it. That is the fruit of laziness. I am an A to A+ student with a 96% overall score, and I didn't get there by skipping responses to find lists of answers, and blame others when I fail, not even having have read the "can you check my work" part, saying that these answers are not correct. I pride myself with good grades because I put in the effort. I don't use homeschool online as an excuse to cheat when no one is looking. I use these sites for help to LEARN, not GET GOOD GRADES that I don't earn. Hopefully, all of you will have a chance to learn good work ethic, like josh, who is trying to learn if his understanding is right or wrong and WHY. I stayed in an LiveLesson for an hour later (just yesterday) to take Social Studies notes because I (for ME) want to do well, and actually get the scores I do on ISAT's and so forth. If you have the time to come back here after days, waiting for an answer, then first, you need to study harder (because you clearly have the time), and second, GET A LIFE!!!
