Why could the mean of the data set below be misleading?
ages of teachers: 29, 38, 39, 26, 29, 29, 39, 77, 38, 29
because the outlier 77 is so much greater than the other values, it pulls the mean way up.
Thank you! I got it right then. I wanted to make sure.
correct
Because 77 is a outlier and a much larger number making the mean go up. do not copy and paste this is just to help you need to adjust it and add stuff if you copy and paste you could be expelled please be safe and try hard.

We use a larger scale to redraw the graph so that the difference in wins between the three seasons does not appear as dramatic.
The scale used in the graph is 1 grid unit to represent 1 goal; however, if we change the scale to 1 grid unit to represent 2 goals or 1 grid unit to represent 3 goals, the difference in victories across the three seasons will not appear as significant.
