This will take you some time to think this through but watch each step closely and don't skip a step.

(2/5)x^4-23x^2+1+1/15x^4+5x^2-5
(2x^4)/(5)-23x^2+1+1/15x^4+5x^2-5
(2x^4)/(5)-23x^2+1+[(1)x^4/](3*5)+5x^2-5
(2x^4)/(5)-23x^2+1+(x^4)/(3*5)+5x^2-5
(2x^4)/(5)-23x^2+5x^2+(x^4)/(3*5)+1-5
(2x^4)/(5)-18x^2+(x^4)/(3*5)-4
3(2x^4)-(5*3)(18x^2)/(5*3)+x^4-(5*3)4
[3*2x^4-15(18x^2)+x^4-15*4]/5*3
[6x^4-15*18x^2+x^4-16]/5*3
[6x^4+x^4-270x^2-60]/5*3
[7x^4-270x^2-60]/5*3
[7x^4-270x^2-60]/15

Each step remember to add or subtract like terms and move your terms together. You will end up with them in order from highest power.

If you get confused on the steps look at your book and copy this on the book if it is yours. It might give you a little more practice.
