The perimeter of the rectangular shaped base of a piano is 16 feet. What are all possible dimensions of the piano, using only whole numbers of feet?

This is still so confusing.I am only in fifth grade!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Ugh this is hard

Not "4 4 4 4" - That would be a square. :)

Help mah I dont want a bad grade TwT

This isn't an answer

This makes no sense!

IDK I THINK ITS LIKE 2 OR LIKE 4 OR MAYBE EVEN LIKE 16??? AM I LIKE RIGHT?

Good answer

I am confusion

all of the dimensions are 8

this is lteraly an answer to my homework

It's

1-1-7-7
2-2-6-6
3-3-5-5
not 4-4-4-4 because then all the sides are equal and its a square.
So there are 3 combinations

Wait, Actually it really cant be any of those Remember that to find the perimeter you need to know the length and the width of a rectangle. Therefore, you need two numbers for each answer to this question. Here is an example - a rectangle of 3 x 4 would have a perimeter of 14. So my thoughts for now is 8-8 and 7-9 I cant use a whole number so ya! Anyways I hope this helps you

I think like 4 or 3 not sure its so hard,

Perimeer of recatacalgle:

P=2*a+2*b
P=2*(a+b)
Perimeter is 16ft
16=2*(a+b) Divided with 2
8=a+b
a+b=8
You mas fid numbers a and b which have sum 8.
That is
a=1 and b=7
a=2 and b=3
a=3 and b=5
a=4 and b=4

1-1-7-7

2-2-6-6
3-3-5-5
4-4-4-4

still think also hope it helps
