Introduction Paragraph (Exposition)

The exposition refers to the start of a story. Most stories start with an introduction of the main character(s) and the setting. The Exposition might also introduce the main conflict or problem in a story.

Introduce your characters.

For this section, consider how you want to open your story for the reader. What is something important that would get your reader to understand where you're going with the story? How do you get their attention? Consider starting by introducing yourself and the characters!

Optional Sentence starter - The characters are...and...

Example - When I was six, I first learned how to swim. It was very scary because no one had taught me how to swim in the deep end before.

(This should be at least two sentences long.)
