I believe that the rapid technological advancements, globalization, and diverse cultural influences have all played a role in the development of these various musical styles.
Technological advancements, such as the invention of the electric guitar, synthesizers, drum machines, and digital recording equipment, have greatly expanded the possibilities for musicians to create new sounds and experiment with different genres.
