Today begins your final unit in language arts, and I wanted to share some important dates so you can wrap up this course successfully.
Your final day of school Is May 23rd which means you have 26 school days left in the semester! Our final unit is a portfolio which counts as 25% of your grade. I am attaching the link for the Research Presentation Hyper Doc . You can also find it embedded into the lessons in Unit 14 and on the message boards for this course. It is critically important that you review this document as it contains all requirements and resources for this portfolio.
The portfolio is due on 5/3. Temporary zeros for this assignment will be put in on 5/10. Portfolios are not reset. To improve your grade, you will submit your revised portfolio to me as a webmail attachment. Please remember that teachers have 7 days to grade an assignment, so plan accordingly.
The deadline for reset requests is 5/17. All work must be submitted by 10:59 pm on 5/23. There are no extensions of any sort for the spring semester as teachers sign out on 5/24 for the summer. Zeros for all units other than unit 14 will go in tomorrow.
Remember, the final portfolio carries more weight than anything else this semester. Our next two live lessons (4/24 and 5/1) will be portfolio workshops if you need further assistance on this portfolio.
