In order for three side lengths a, b, and c to create a triangle, the following conditions must be met:
1. The sum of the lengths of any two sides of the triangle must be greater than the length of the third side: a + b > c, a + c > b, and b + c > a.
2. The difference between the lengths of any two sides of the triangle must be less than the length of the third side: |a - b| < c, |a - c| < b, and |b - c| < a.
