Through erosion, heat, and pressure.
Igneous rocks can be broken down by weathering and erosion processes, such as wind and water, into smaller fragments. These fragments, or sediment, can then be transported and deposited in a new location. Over time, the accumulated sediment undergoes compaction and becomes lithified through the application of heat and pressure. This process is known as diagenesis and results in the formation of sedimentary rocks.
