Bot The surface area of a triangular prism can be found by adding the area of all of its faces. The formula is:
Surface Area = (2 x base x height) + (3 x base x side)
where base is the length of one side of the triangular base, height is the height of the prism, and side is the length of the side of one of the triangle faces not adjacent to the base.
Note that the factor of 2 in the first term accounts for the fact that there are two faces with the same area on either end of the prism, while the factor of 3 in the second term accounts for the fact that there are three faces with the same area on the sides of the prism.
