I will do the 2nd, you do the first.

y = 2x - 1
y = x + 3
since both have y = ....
set y = y
2x-1 = x+3
2x-x = 3+1
x = 4
sub into either of the originals to get y, you MUST get the same y using either one.

y = x+3
= 4+3 = 7
so you have (4,7)
