With Distributive Property
18(3+14)(6)(21+4)
=(18)(17)(6)(21+4)
=(306)(6)(21+4)
=1836(21+4)
=(1836)(25)
=45900
Not sure how to do it without using the distributive property. Hope my first answer does you well though!
With and without distributive property
18(3+14)(6)(21+4)
=(18)(17)(6)(21+4)
=(306)(6)(21+4)
=1836(21+4)
=(1836)(25)
=45900
Not sure how to do it without using the distributive property. Hope my first answer does you well though!
18(3+14) x 6(21+4)
=18(17) × 6(25)
=18 × 17 × 6 × 25
Since we have only multiplication left, the order in which it is done doesn't matter. Let's multiply 18 by 17 and 6 by 25:
=306 × 150
=45900
18(3+14) x 6(21+4)
so you would add the stuff in parenthesis
18(17) x 6(25)
and then you multiply 18 by 17 and 6 by 25
306 x 150 = ?
and then you solve for ?
Hope this helps! <3
Using the Distributive Property:
Step 1: Distribute the terms within the first parentheses to the terms outside.
18(3+14) x 6(21+4)
= 18(3) + 18(14) x 6(21) + 6(4)
Step 2: Simplify the operations within each set of parentheses.
= 18(3) + 18(14) x 6(21) + 6(4)
= 18(3) + 18(14) x 6(21) + 6(4)
= 54 + 252 x 126 + 24
Step 3: Continue simplifying by evaluating the multiplications.
= 54 + 252(126) + 24
= 54 + 31752 + 24
Step 4: Perform the addition.
= 31830
Therefore, the value of 18(3+14) x 6(21+4) using the distributive property is 31830.
Without the Distributive Property:
Step 1: Simplify the operations within each set of parentheses separately.
(3+14) = 17
(21+4) = 25
Step 2: Perform the multiplication between the simplified values.
17 x 25 = 425
Step 3: Apply the multiplication operation between the two sets of simplified parentheses.
18 x 6 = 108
Step 4: Multiply the result from Step 2 by the result from Step 3.
108 x 425 = 45900
Therefore, the value of 18(3+14) x 6(21+4) without using the distributive property is 45900.
