When salt dissolves completely into water, which term is used to describe the water?

solvent
concentration
solute
solution

Does anyone have the whole test for solutions, acids, and bases unit test?

1: Solvent

2: Water molecules will attract each other electrically, but they will not attract oil molecules, causing separation.
3: Yes, it can be extracted through evaporation. It retains its original properties.
4: The water would need to be heated to a higher temperature, which would give molecules and ions more kinetic energy, increasing solubility.
5: oxygen
6: The number of particles of solute in a solution is measured in moles.
7: Both compound types have oppositely charged regions.
8: oppositely charged ends
9: It easily dissociates into ions in solution.
10: 11.0
11: HCl, H2S, PH3
12: Sulfur (S) has a larger atomic size than oxygen (O), so HS– is a more stable, weaker base than OH–.
13: 4
14: The negative log of the concentration of OH– ions is 2. Sodium hydroxide is a strong base.
15: A solution of potassium hydroxide will always have a lesser concentration of solute than a solution of ammonia.

shut up online teacher nobody cares

The teachers on here most definitely don’t know the struggle. Most teens do online school as a last resort, I myself did. Due to depression and always moving it was no fun doing public. If I have to cheat my way through idrfc. Love ya

nvm it’s solvent ☠️

ur very welcome! <3

i just took the test and dabi is 100% right !!

i find it so funny when ppl yell at us for cheating like they themselves aren't on the website lmfao

Thanks dabi

Dabi is still 100% correct but the test has 19 questions now

Online teacher needs to go eat a tortilla chip vertically because the teachers don't even know how to teach us since we're on here getting H E L P

Yo what are all the answers to the test. not the long answers tho

online teacher a clown

Dabi answers are correct

Honestly if you think about it if you memorize the answer in the correct order or write them down somewhere then use that then technically you are not cheating or violating the "HonOR code" and this is coming from an Honor student at connection academy

thanks

solubility

L teacher

aye bro it’s solute

No, I don't have the test and I suggest that you not use answers from other student. That isn't the way you learn. In fact you could have Googled your question and read the answer easily.

When solutions are made the material that is doing the dissolving is the solvent. In this case that is the water. The material being dissolved is the solute. That is the salt in this case. USUALLY, but not always, the solid is called the solute and the liquid is the solvent. In the case of two liquids usually the one in larger quantity is called the solvent and the smaller quantity is the solute. You can have solid/liquid solution as in the NaCl solution in the problem but there are many others; i.e., liquid/liquid, gas/liquid. gas/gas, solid/solid, etc.
Please come back here for your questions but don't cheat.

It is an Honor Code violation to use internet resources, such as this website, on your test questions. Doing so will result in a zero on the essay question and a discipline report.
