aaliyay surely meant

x^2 + 4

when x = 5, x^2 +4
= 5^2 + 4
= 29

5x2 =10 and 10 + 4 =14

your equation doesn't make any sense

If a textbook or a reliable math source would have meant 2x, the would have typed it that way, and not x2. Nobody does that.

There is a high probability that aaliyah meant x^2 , that is, there is a typo.

Fine, then search up online, every website and source says it's 14. BTW, I don't even think Aaliyah saw our answers, Mabey it's just a bot.

To find the value of x^2 + 4 for x = 5, we can substitute the value of x into the expression and then evaluate it.

Step 1: Replace x with 5 in the expression x^2 + 4
x^2 + 4 = 5^2 + 4

Step 2: Simplify the expression
5^2 = 5 * 5 = 25
x^2 + 4 = 25 + 4 = 29

Therefore, the value of x^2 + 4 for x = 5 is 29.
