Which word sounds better to use in this sentence?
You are the coolest person I ever met.
OR
You are the coolest person I ever meet.
Which word do I use?
Is it the word MET or MEET?
The first sentence is correct. You cannot compare "you" to people in the present or future - only to those you have met (in the past). Otherwise, it won't make sense.
