A man travels from a village of X in a bearing of 060¤ to a village which is 20km away from Y.He travels to a village Z on a bearing of 195¤.If Z is directly east of X,calculate correct to 3 significant figures,the distance of:(i)Y from Z (ii)Z from X

This is messed up. I can only assume that Y is 20km away from X. Otherwise there is no way to figure anything out, since you give no other distances.

If you draw the diagram, you can easily see that angles
X=30°, Y=45°, Z=105°

If we label the sides opposite X,Y,Z as x,y,z then using the law of sines,

x/sin30° = y/sin45° = 20/sin105°

10.35 and 14.64

Pls we need the diagram

Using the sine rule , they only gave us the distance of X to Y and the remaining wasn't given so we use the sign rule to get the distance of the remaining the final answer is: Y from Z is 10.4km and Z from X is 14.6km

3.35

33.4

Just use the TOA ( tangent) = 3/5 = 0.6 . Tan inverse of 0.6 is approximately 31 degrees. Subtract 31 from 150 and your final answer will be 119 degrees.

Wrong question sorry about that.

We really need the duagram(answer)

wher ie the diagram
