Order matters... once he has worn a shirt it is used up for the week.
so... if the slots represent the days of the week _____ x ______ x ______
In the first slot (the first day of the week), he has 5 choices
= __5 __ x ___ x ___
but then that shirt is used up so the second day he only has 4 choices
= 5 x 4 x ___ then that shirt is used up, so the final day of the week that he works he only has three choices
= 5 x 4 x 3
= ...
