Which of the following most caused the Cold War?

A.) different views on communism and democracy
B.) different views on the use of the atomic bomb
C.) the division of Germany, Austria, and Berlin into zones of occupation
D.) the creation of the Warsaw Pact and the North Atlantic Treaty Organization

I think the answer is C., but am not entirely sure.

Thanks!

A was the wrong answer for the Civil War.

A is the right answer for the Cold War.

Oh wow, I am sorry. I understand my mistake. Thank you very much for all your help!

:-) You are very welcome.

No.

At least you have the right war, this time.

I am looking back, and the only other choice would be D. How would that be the answer? Also, thank you for your response.

No.

What's wrong with A? That's the cause you gave for the Civil War -- and of course that was wrong.

Didn't communism vs. democracy play a big role in the Cold War? The Soviet Union vowed to make much of the world communist, while the U.S. and its allies fought to keep the world for democracy.

That's what I was thinking, but you said on my previous post quote "Civil war -- communism? No way!" With this being said, what is the answer, because I am being told different answers. My original answer was A., but was told by 'Ms. Sue' that A. was certainly not the correct answer.

Please help.
