Use limits to find the slope (and then the equation) of the tangent line at x = 2

The slope is the value of -1 -3x^2, and that equals -13 at x = 2. I don't see why they want limits to be used. At the tangent point. y = -8. Now you know the slope and a point it goes through. You can use that to get the equation.

(y+8)/(x-2) = -13
