Calculate the mass in grams of the undiluted bleach that was in the sample of bleach titrated.

Given:
Density of undiluted bleach unkown is 1.042 g/mL.
14.44 mL of .100 M Na2S2O3.
.0537 grams of NaClO.
Each sample should conain 1/5 of the original undiluted bleach. Since 5mL of undiluted bleach wee originally used, each titration sample contains 1/5 of the 5.00 mL. Use density to convert the volume of a titration sample into grams.
Please help.

I'm not sure I have followed the question completely but here is what I think.

volume is 5.00 mL and you take 1/5 that or 1.00 mL.
The initial 5.00 mL contains 5.00 mL x 1.042 g/mL = 5.20 grams. If you take 1.00 mL of that each mL will contain 5.20/5.00 = 1.042 grams.
You get the same number if you used just 1.00 mL from 1.00 mL x 1.042 g/mL = 1.042grams.

To calculate the mass of the undiluted bleach, we need to follow these steps:

Step 1: Calculate the volume of the undiluted bleach used in the titration.
Since each titration sample contains 1/5 of the original undiluted bleach, and 5 mL of undiluted bleach were originally used, the volume of each titration sample can be calculated as follows:
Volume of titration sample = 1/5 * 5 mL = 1 mL

Step 2: Convert the volume of the titration sample to grams using the density of the undiluted bleach.
Given that the density of undiluted bleach is 1.042 g/mL, we can use the following equation to convert the volume to mass:
Mass of titration sample = Volume of titration sample * Density of undiluted bleach

Substituting the values into the equation:
Mass of titration sample = 1 mL * 1.042 g/mL = 1.042 grams

Therefore, the mass of the undiluted bleach in the sample used for titration is 1.042 grams.

To calculate the mass of the undiluted bleach, we need to use the density and volume of the titration sample.

Given:
Density of undiluted bleach: 1.042 g/mL
Volume of titration sample: 14.44 mL

First, we need to convert the volume of the titration sample to grams using the density. We can use the formula:

Mass = Density x Volume

Mass = 1.042 g/mL x 14.44 mL

Mass = 15.03648 g (rounded to 5 decimal places)

Therefore, the mass of the undiluted bleach in the titration sample is approximately 15.03648 grams.
